Rowdy Maui

The name Rowdy Maui comes from a combination of our Texas roots & our love of all things tropical. No, we are not from Maui (but it'd be cool if we were) and none of us are named Rowdy. Our shop is a collection of the things we love, inspired by the nostalgic icons of our childhoods to the wild art we love to decorate with today. We aren't your typical stuffy art gallery or your mom's souvenir shop. We only carry items WE love personally, and the majority are made by us, designed by us, or our other family members.

Rowdy Maui was founded in '06 by my mom Sherrel & I (Kacie!) We're the mother-daughter duo masterminds of this whole funky operation. We've two peas in a pink polka dotted pod and share a love for all that is unique (and cats. all of the cats.) As the years have passed and the store changes, my mom while she is still a big part of the shop, she's mostly retired. She deserves it! After raising 2 nutball kids and dealing with my Dad for over 40 years, she deserves a break. The great thing is our shop is still family owned and operated, but most times when you visit you'll see me (Kacie!) and my partner in crime & love of my life Eddie aka The Rooster. We work so hard to bring a unique shopping experience to our customers, and I know you hear that from every other store, but I promise you---we truly mean it.

We aren't a typical cookie cutter boutique, our styles change and we never carry items just because it's 'trendy.'

We love to hear "I've never seen that before!" and try to make our shop an inviting, psychadelic adventure.

We are so proud of what we have built since 2006.

We offer a little bit of everything-from original art, clothing, home decor, jewelry, gifts & so much more. We love to create and have FUN, our store is such a labor of love and it reflects in everything we do.

We're best buds and we thank our lucky stars everyday that we are able to take on this journey together. Family is #1 to us and by shopping with us, we're welcoming you into our wacky little family too. This all started as a dream between my mom and I and to think that 17 years later it's still thriving and evolving and it's a place where all of my family is able to showcase their talents and creativity....dream.come. true.

Life is too short to wear boring clothes and go home to boring beige walls. Let that freak flag fly high, we'll help customize it for you too! ;)

We could go on and on about how cool our store is and how we've worked so hard to make it a unique shopping experience for you, but really you should experience it firsthand. So hop in your car or on a bus or a train and make your way to Rockport! Just don't be surprised if you come in and we're dressed up in wild costumes or dancing in the street, we've been known to do that.
